Our Journey
In the urban dictionary, ‘Palooza’ is a party that goes on forever, and so it does! Starting their culinary journey in 2010 when Jeff and Suzette Tyler made a life change; they bought a hot dog cart. Since then, business has been growing rapidly. Three months after that first purchase, they bought a second hot dog stand. Naturally, more catering came along and Palooza Catering and Events was born. The BunSlinger (our food truck) roamed the streets of Sonoma County, and eventually Palooza Brewery and Gastropub was established in 2014.
Today Suzette and Jeff Tyler have two restaurants, brew their own beer and have a thriving catering business. They opened Palooza Brewery and Gastropub in 2014 and enjoy serving approachable food in a relaxed atmosphere. While their passions include beer, they focus on local: people, ingredients and giving back to the Sonoma County community where they live. They’ve provided services for various organizations such as Blood Bank of the Redwoods, the Kenwood Fire Department, Canine Companions, Light the Night and Project Grad, Kenwood Rotary Club, and Kenwood Schools. Their motto: “Treat people right, buy good ingredients, and don’t screw up.”
