A family-owned sustainable vineyard and winery
For six generations and over 160 years, our Gundlach Bundschu family has farmed our Rhinefarm estate vineyard at the crossroads of the Sonoma Valley, Carneros and Napa Valley appellations. Today, we focus on making small lots of ultra-premium wines from this distinctive and historic property.
Come on over and spend some time getting to know the land, the wines, and the people that make Gundlach Bundschu unique. As the oldest family-owned winery in California, we offer distinctive, small-production wines in a historic and bucolic setting, with fun and educational hospitality.
We are open every day 11am-4:30pm for tastings and tours by appointment only, with the last reservation at 3PM. Our property is family-friendly and dog-friendly. Please, no outside food, we offer an assortment of cheese and charcuterie boards and other seasonal fare for purchase.
COVID-19 UPDATE – Effective 12/30/21: In an effort to keep our guests and staff safe, we require all guests joining us for a cave tour or private tasting to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of your reservation. Children who are not yet eligible for vaccination may be indoors with their party. Mask-wearing is required when not seated at your table.
